vaccination policy

  • Proof of vaccination is required for all patrons
  • All guests will be required to show an ID with photo and full name and proof of full vaccination. A physical vaccination card, picture of your vaccination card, or digital vaccination record will suffice. California residents may obtain a digital vaccination card at
  • Proof of vaccination must indicate that it has been at least 14 days since the patron’s last vaccination dose (two doses are required for the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines, one for the Johnson & Johnson vaccine). 
  • Those legally exempted from vaccines (attendees under the age of 12 or those with a medical or religious exemption) must present a negative COVID-19 test verified by a 3rd party. PCR test must have been taken within 48 hours, Antigen must have been taken within 24 hours. If you are exempted by law, please contact the box office in advance. Guests can find testing sites here.

mask policy

All ticket holders are required to wear face masks inside the venue. NCTC front of house staff will also be required to wear masks during performances.

Will NCTC be practicing distanced seating?

We will have limited capacity seating for all shows in the 21-22 Season.  The grey seats seen on the seat charts are empty seats to create space between guests.

nctc SPACE enhancements

NCTC has upgraded the space to offer contactless ticketing options, installing new air sanitizers, more sanitizing stations, and implementing additional cleaning protocols.


Hydroxyl Generators that sanitize air and surfaces and will be run throughout the space before and after performances. Our ventilation system exceeds approved ACH (air change per-hour) standards and our air filtering exceeds approved MERV (minimum efficiency reporting value) standards.


what if i feel sick?

Please do not attend NCTC if you are ill or have come in contact with someone who has COVID-19.  NCTC's Box Office will waive the $5 exchange fee for all single tickets and place you in another performance. Subscribers have unlimited exchanges for all productions in their package.  Please reach out to the Box Office at 415-861-8972 or


We are excited to announce the re-opening of Mason's Bar in the NCTC lobby.  Guests may drink in our lobby and bar pre-show and during intermission.  Drinks and food will not be allowed in the theatre.



As we have done in the past, NCTC will offer guests multiple options including a credit voucher, opportunity to donate the ticket amount to NCTC, or a complete refund.
