High School Performance Ensemble: Scenework Showcase!

Oct. 15 - Dec. 10, 2022

Fall Session

In this acting intensive, students work with a director on scenes and monologues for a Conservatory showcase in December. Learn the essentials of scene work within a supportive ensemble. Build confidence in your solo work with specially chosen monologues and discover audition tips & tricks. This group class is also a great opportunity for students preparing for high school & college auditions!

Guests will be invited to a Conservatory showcase featuring middle and high school students on December 10th at 1:00 pm & 3:00 pm.

*Attendance is very important for this class and unapproved absences may result in removal from some or all of your roles. Please be sure you can commit to the schedule and the showcase day before registering. (Students must be available from 10 am-5 pm on showcase day. Otherwise, class is from 11:00 am-1:00 pm.)

*This class is part one of two. In addition to showcase work during the fall, ensemble members will explore spring play options and gain work experience as rotating teaching assistants before class. In the spring session (1/7-5/7,) this group will transition to play production. The fall session is open to all. Admittance to the more advanced spring session (based on experience, maturity, and project chosen) is determined by the Education Director.
