SNOW WHITE IN THE WILD WEST, Written & Directed by Stephanie Temple

Travel to the Wild, Wild West in this old-timey melodrama set in the Colorado mountains where the only thing bigger than the boots were the beards! Our play features slapstick comedy, square dancing and lots of over the top characters. Evil saloon owner, Queenie Blackheart, sends the innocent barmaid, Snow White, off into the woods to be killed for her beauty. After escaping, Snow stumbles upon the cottage of the rough and tumble Dwarf family who are in desperate need of housekeeping and table manners. Will Queenie finish what she started? This new adaptation of the classic story keeps the surprises coming along with colorful costumes and lively music.

Led by Conservatory Director Stephanie Temple, students will learn acting skills through group games, character study, and audition techniques--all in a real theatre setting. The class culminates in a fully-produced play (with professionally designed costumes and sets) with 6 public performances.
