Bad Girls Throughout History

Based on the popular book by Ann Shen, this character exploration and monologue workshop will explore amazing “bad girls” who made history and made their mark on the world. We’ll step into the lives of Aphra Behn (the first professional female writer,) Tomyris (a fearless Iranian warrior queen,) or Sojourner Truth (an activist for abolition and women’s rights.) Students of all gender identities are welcome to celebrate and explore the lives of these “bad girls.”
Dates: 9/21-10/26 (6 sessions)
Day/Time: Mondays, 3:00-4:15 pm, 75 minutes
*Note: There will be class on Mon., 10/12, Indigenous Peoples' Day
