Casa Valentina
Oct 7 – Nov 6, 2016
Regional Premiere

In summer 1962, most men who went to the Catskills went to escape the heat. Others, made their way to Casa Valentina, an inconspicuous bungalow colony catering to a very special clientele: heterosexual men who would discreetly escape their families to spend their weekends safely dressing and acting as women. Based on real events and infused with Fierstein's trademark wit, this moving, insightful, and delightfully entertaining play offers a glimpse into the lives of a group of "self-made women" as they search for acceptance and happiness in their very own Garden of Eden.
By four-time Tony Award winner Harvey Fierstein
Directed by Becca Wolff
Run time: 2 hours with a 15 minute intermission
