A Message from Author Armistead Maupin

I write you today as a supporter of The New Conservatory Theatre Center.

Now in its 29th year, NCTC has a long history of providing the Bay Area with provocative and compelling stage productions, as well as quality theatre arts education for youth from all backgrounds.

This exceptional theatre has far-reaching impact and needs our support.

As you all know, NCTC is in Phase Three of the James L. Coran and Walter A. Nelson-Rees Legacy Challenge Campaign. I’m happy to report that they are well on the way to meeting the next $200,000 goal by the August 31st 2010 deadline. There is only $52,000 left to raise. They can make it if we all continue to pitch in.

Please join me in celebrating The New Conservatory Theatre Center with a new or additional gift to the Legacy Challenge Campaign. Your contribution will help sustain NCTC’s mission: to champion innovative theatre experiences for youth, adults, and artists in order to effect personal and societal growth, enlightenment, and change.
