Over the next 60 months NCTC must match 2 to 1 a generous half-a-million dollar legacy gift from philanthropists James L. Coran and Walter Nelson-Rees. The Legacy Challenge Campaign goal is to raise 1.5 million dollars from individual donors and corporate matching gift programs by the end of August 2012. All contributions will support general operating and capital improvement costs at NCTC.
Currently we are in the first of five challenge periods, during which we must raise $200K by August 31, 2008.
To date we have raised: $167,380
That leaves us just $32,620 short of our first benchmark goal!
Giving levels and benefits are listed below. Simply click the Donate Now button to your left or at the bottom of the page, and help us meet the Legacy Challenge!
NCTC would like to thank our donors who help make all of our productions possible! To see our donor thank you list, click here.

Emerging Artist Project
by Michael Phillis
Directed by Andrew Nance
World Premiere January 22-February 22, 2009

DOLLS examines a day in the life of Frank’s Collection, a diverse society comprised of dolls—a broad term for all humanoid toys—and based loosely on the city of San Francisco. By adopting a series of doll personas, Michael takes his audience on an Orientation Day tour through The Shelves, a hierarchical, strife-torn, richly imagined world whose inhabitants possess the same complexities and conflicts as the humans they are made to resemble. |
FIRST DATES AND OTHER DISASTERS
Emerging Artist Project
Composed by Tim Hanson
Directed by Michael Mohammed
World Premiere August 3-30, 2009 |
|
FIRST DATES AND OTHER DISASTERS is a song cycle that explores the many facets and forms of human relationships—the envy and the ecstasy, the unspoken understandings and the miscommunications, the relationships that last a lifetime and those whose beginnings, middles, and ends occur within a bus ride. |
